How our funding works

All opportunities are structured strictly as loans, not equity. You, as the funder, are lending capital to us, and in return, we pay you interest. Each funder can choose which specific project they want to loan into, ensuring clarity and control.

Once you fund, we’ll onboard you into Buildertrend, our project management platform that serves as your real-time funder dashboard. From one place, you’ll be able to follow construction schedules, review budgets, see progress photos and daily logs, and even track draw requests as funds move through the project. This gives you complete visibility into how your capital is being put to work, with updates flowing to you as the project develops.

When payouts occur

For all phases—acquisition, horizontal, and vertical - payouts for principal and interest are typically made per structure at refinance/close. Depending on the project, we may alternatively structure returns around phased milestones. Each offering will specify the exact payout method.
